Filicia attended Syracuse University's Art & Project school in the college of Visual and Performing Arts. He attended the university from either spring 1990 until spring 1993 & holds a B.The. around interior design.

His project house, Thom Filicia Inc., has completed two residential & commercial act around metropolitan New York, the Hamptons, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Florida, California, Utah and Bermuda. He describes his decorating style when modern classicalism.
